 Application Guidelines 

 

  • Applicants in the following fields are eligible to apply:

 drawing, printmaking (linocut and woodcut), painting, mixed media, new media,  digital photography, bookmaking arts, craft art, sculpture/installation,  performance/video  art, interdisciplinary arts, literature, socially engaged practice  and cultural  research.

  • Open to All emerging (must have completed undergraduate degree or experience equivalent to that), mid-career  and established artists.

  • Applicants can be writers, individual artists and collaborative teams with a maximum of 2 members.  Members of a group shall provide previous collaboration work samples and each member’s CV or resume. 

  • Applicants must have a working knowledge of English. Knowledge of Serbian, Croatian, or Macedonian is a plus, but not required.

  • All applicants must download and complete the application form available on the apply page.

  • Visual artists should submit no more than 10 images or 2-3 image stills per video.

  • All images submitted must be in JPEG format and no larger than 1MB placed in a single folder.

  • Images should be labeled with number, last name, and first name (ex. 01_Doe_John)

  • Images should have a corresponding image list with details about the images (title, medium, size, year).

  • All videos should be submitted using an URL to a website or other online locations for viewing. Maximum of 4 videos.

  • Work should not be older than 5 years.

  • Writers should submit a maximum of 2 separate works not longer than 5000 words each.

  • All word documents must be saved as a .PDF.

 Selection Process 

 

A panel of professionals review submissions with decisions based on the quality of the proposal and the support materials submitted and ability to interact positively with the community at large.

 

Applicants for the months of June/July/August/Septwill be informed through e-mail by May 20th, 2024.
